Testimonials
"I purchased the Sportz Truck Tent
III tent because my family loves the
outdoors. It gets us up off the ground and
is simple to set up. I like the amount of
room in this tent and all of the little
extras. Thank you Napier for a great product
and friendly product support. JS Kiser, VA
My wife and I spent 8 days in Colorado
hunting this past September. We used
the Sportz Truck Tent III for our camp.
It was unbelievably comfortable and roomy. We
stayed 100% dry in some severe thunderstorms
and high wind. I would recommend this
system to anyone who loves the
outdoors."

I Love This Tent
"On our fishing trips my husband
and I have always slept in our SUV. Imagine
how difficult it is to get dressed lying
down, and trying to store gear in the front
seat each night. This was a great investment
two years ago and it still looks and
performs like new. Now I can get dressed in
complete privacy! It sets up in less than 15
minutes, and takes only a minute to
disconnect or reconnect to the vehicle! On a
recent trip we took our grandson who slept
in the tent with lots of room for his gear
and ours. It withstood a violent storm with
40 mph wind, and not a drop of rain came in.
There is room to set a couple of chairs
inside the tent for those rainy times, and
the canopy provides additional protection. I
highly recommend this tent for anyone who
has been sleeping in an SUV and wants more
space to move around and store gear! The
only negative thing I have to say is that it
is hard (but not impossible) to get it back
into the carrying bag. Well worth the price,
you won't be disappointed in the quality of
this tent!"

Field Tested and Approved
I run a small business renting out VW
Westfalia camper vans.I just bought one of
your large size SUV tents and field-tested
it. It worked great. Easy to set
up, and it slips right over the Westfalia
hatch as snug and secure as I had hoped.
Great product.

Eye Catching Tents
I have had a Sportz Truck Tent for a few
years now. I gave my first one to a family
member and bought myself a new on two year
ago. It is absolutely the best!!! It is
easy to set up and pack away. Every
campsite that I have been to, there has
been someone to come by just to check the
tent out. I even had a couple in a big
fancy 5th wheel trailer look at it. Keep
up the good work.

Maiden Cruise in Sportz Tent
I bought the tent for my wife's birthday
present and we used it for the first time
on a trip to Philadelphia, PA from our
home in Birmingham, AL last month.
We were one day ahead of Hurricane Ivan
and got rained on a little bit. The Sportz
Tent #81000 held up well and we stayed dry
(except for one little place where I
failed to fully close a zipper!).
Not having camped in a tent since about
1969, we were pleasantly surprised to see
how your tent was so much better than our
old canvas model. You have engineered a
real winner and we plan to enjoy using it
many times in the future.
Napier makes great tents and has great
people!

5 Star Hotel
I just bought your Full-Size SUV tent and
have a very different use for this product
which I thought your readers would
appreciate. I am an amateur astronomer and
spend many nights in remote places seeking
dark skies in which to use for
astronomical purposes....I need a dark sky
to set up my telescope and to do
astrophotography.
Your SUV Tent allows me to build a Red lit
space along with using the back of my Ford
Explorer as a master bedroom, as a sort of
portable astronomy lab. I set up my tent
with the table, the laptop etc and the
back of the truck becomes the bedroom.
This allows me mosquito free space in nice
red light (which does not effect night
vision) in which to do my scientific
studies. My telescope sits outside the
truck and the tent. For those inclement
nights, it affords me the opportunity to
sleep comfortably as opposed to just
cramming myself into the front seat of the
SUV....
Your product will become a very
substantial part of my hobby of astronomy!
Astronomers these days need a way to get
50-100 miles out from the city lights in
order to have good viewing, and your
product, the SUV Tent, allows us to do so
"IN STYLE" and in a relaxed,
comfortable manor....Thus eliminating the
need to pack up frantically in the event
of bad weather....
Thank you for making this product!
Sincerely,
Paul Olson
Sometimes it's good to
be left high and dry
I just wanted to say what a great tent you
are selling. My wife and I just spent
three days in Prospect, PA at an Easy
Riders motorcycle rodeo. On Friday night
it started raining and didn't stop until
about 2pm on Saturday, and it rained
pretty hard at times. We were camping with
five other couples and of the six tents
ours was the only DRY one, no leaks at
all!! Everybody had wet clothes, bedding,
etc. except us. I have a Sportz II Truck
Tent with canopy and it was the best
camping purchase I have ever made!
THANK YOU FOR A GREAT PRODUCT!!

Toronto Star Article - July

metres high and sleeps six.
It comes with a 2-metre awning/rain fly,
two entrance doors, fibreglass poles, a
waterproof, polyethylene coated floor with
rip-stop protection and fine mesh on all
windows. Available for $229.95US at a
number of camping and auto supply

Camping in the "Element"
We had a great time last weekend. It was
just a little cool on the Saturday night.
It rained a bit, and the tent didn't leak
at all. Thanks so much for the great
service. We had the tent sent long before
the Holiday weekend!
Thanks again,
Shirley
One Cool Tent
I finally used my truck tent and it worked
great! It fit my truck well, even though I
bought a newer model of the same truck the
tent was designed for. We encountered
incessant 25mph winds the night we spent
at Lost Maples State Natural Area and the
tent withstood the assault. Even the
canopy didn't fail! I got lots of curious
looks from other campers, who thought it
was pretty cool!
Thanks, Dave
Saving Money
Dear Napier Enterprises:
We use our Sportz tent often when we
visit our daughter, who is away at
college. A campsite is 10 bucks compared
to a $75.00 motel room the tent is a no
brainer. The pic shows my daughter
taking a snooze after boating on the
lake.
Thank You,

Great Times in the North
At Elliot Lake:
Elliot Lake - The age of searching for
tent pegs, flat ground and not to bumpy
are over for camping enthusiasts,
provided they have a pick up truck.
The Sportz Truck Tent, by Napier
Enterprises, has solved that problem and
made just about anywhere one would park
a suitable camping spot.
The Sportz Truck Tent weights only a few
pounds and fits into its own small
duffel bag. The tent is made of P.U.
coated nylon with a polyethylene floor.
It has shock-corded fiberglass poles. It
also has a large D-type door, four large
windows and a water resistant fly to
keep the occupants dry when it rains. It
provides plenty of room by using the
full length and width of the truck box.
It allows about four feet of headroom in
the centre. It comes in six sizes to fit
just about any truck: full-size long and
short boxes, compact long and short
boxes, flairside/side-steps and Dakota
short boxes.
It takes about 15 minutes to set up.
Skip Bezair and I decided to put the
company's claim to the test. We set it
up in the specified time, which included
breaking with convention; we read the
instructions (that comes from years of
experience trying to put children's
presents together on Christmas Eve).
All we did was take it out of the
package, roll it down the bed of a Dodge
Ram short-box graciously loan to us for
the occasion by Algoma Chrysler in
Spragge. We hooked the nine tie downs to
the side and rear of the truck, passed
the poles through the guides and put up
the water resistant fly.
Skip and I did learn one thing, when
putting the tent away, leave a window
flap open so the air can escape as its
being rolled up. We were both impressed
with the tent, then wondered, since
pick-up trucks have been around for so
long why did it take so long for someone
to think of this. I know it would have
saved me a lot of frustration.
The short box versions can comfortably
sleep two adults. The extra length of
the long-box could probably accommodate
a shorter person sleeping sideways.
However, bring an air mattress or a
bubble pad, truck boxes where not
designed with comfort in mind. Skip and
I were not the only ones impressed by
the tent, so was Darren Robins, manager
at Algoma Chrysler, so much so they are
offering a free tent with the purchase
of a new Dodge Ram or Dakota.
Two tents will be given away as prizes
in the Trail Rider ATV Poker Run on Aug.
26 in Elliot Lake thanks to Napier
Enterprises.
Surviving the Storm
Dear Sirs:
A few weeks back I was camping at the
lake. The weather forecast called for a
chance of thunderstorms. About 4 am, the
wind woke me and I could see the storms
coming over the trees. The storms were
strong with winds in my area at about 70
mph. The tent flapped in the wind and I
was expecting the tent to be torn to
pieces. The photo is from the next
weekend and as you see, it is intact. We
survived the storm and the tent didn't
even pop a stitch. I was very impressed
and highly recommend the tent to anyone
looking to buy one. I plan on going
camping again in a few weeks come rain
or shine.
A Very Satisfied Customer.
